Explore Yoga ~ With Capoeira-Vinyasa Flow Yoga Fusion!

This post flows from my recent underwater yoga post, where I wanted to share more beautiful ways of trying yoga – The great thing about starting yoga is that there are SO many options out there to how you choose to use this amazing holistic tool for you. Yoga does not have to be boring or the same routine.

… And over the years, there have been some interesting fusions of yoga and dance (and many other body-art forms) that stretch our limits, helps us explore our body/mind connection and offer us a chance to experience new forms of keeping healthy!

This is my latest interest – a fusion of using capoeira moves with flowing yoga… and I felt it worked well together! In fact, it does make sense to me on so many levels – a lot of the poses found in yoga greatly enhances capoeira practice and vice-versa, they complement each other very well – so seeing this fusion gets me smiling 🙂

Have a look and see what you make of it…

If this looks interesting and you don’t have a similar class near you, why not indulge and explore in this new fusion at home? I was exploring this option as I couldn’t find a location offering this interesting class, so I found a fantastic website where you can cheaply buy and download classes – My Yoga Online Shop.  Search for Capoeira yoga fusion and check out your options (see it here). I also bought and downloaded other DVDs like Shiva Rea’s surf yoga as my own DVD copy has been over used lol! Great online shopping place 🙂 This is a sample of the DVD I bought and love so much!

I hope this blog post inspires you to go out there, get adventurous, explore and be inspired by different forms of yoga that suit you! 🙂
